Bernon family from Mauritius

#1 · September 18, 2026, 2:34 am

Hi I am trying to find any information on Louis Adolphe Bernon who was born in approx. 1852, we think in Port Louis. I can't seem to track down his birth record. I'm just wondering if anyone can shed some light?

Hi Edwina, he has also come up in my search, as I am looking for my fathers, great great grandfather. Going backwards, my father was Michael Rene de la Rue, father was Joseph Eric de la Rue, father was Joseph Rene de la Rue who was married to Marie Augusta Bernon...so I am following her side backwards, and Marie Adrien Bernon was married to Marie Julia Viger, that is the furthest back I have got.
